Every order carries a delivery status alongside its payment status, so “paid but not delivered” can never hide:
- Not Started → Preparing — the order is being put together.
- Out for Delivery — on its way.
- Delivered / Picked Up — done, either brought to the customer or collected.
Update the status from the order card as things move. Pair it with a message template (“Your order is out for delivery 🚚”) to keep the customer in the loop in one tap.
