Delete your account & data

You can request deletion of your Papyris account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what is kept.

1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your Papyris account (the Papyris app, published by Papyris) and the data associated with it. It also describes exactly what data is deleted, what may be kept, and for how long.

2. How to request account deletion

You can ask us to permanently delete your Papyris account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do this:

Option A — In the app

  1. Open the Papyris app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Under Account, use the “Delete account” option and confirm.

Option B — By email

  1. Send an email to manager@papyrisapp.com from the email address registered to your Papyris account.
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
  3. We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then permanently delete your account and data.

We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once it is done.

3. What data is deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove all data tied to your account, including:

  • Your account & profile — name, business name, email, phone number and login credentials;
  • All customers you added — names, phone numbers, locations, notes and tags;
  • All orders / deals, payment records (including MoMo statuses), and delivery statuses;
  • All follow-ups / reminders and saved WhatsApp message templates;
  • Any usage and device data associated with your account.

Papyris never stores your WhatsApp conversations or any card / mobile- money credentials, so there is none of that data to delete.

4. What data is kept, and for how long

After your account is deleted from our live systems, limited data may be retained only where we are legally required to or to protect the Service:

  • Encrypted backups — deleted data may persist in routine backups for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically overwritten.
  • Records required by law — where applicable law (for example tax or accounting rules) requires us to keep certain transaction records, we retain the minimum necessary for the legally required period, then delete it.
  • Anti-fraud / abuse records — minimal information needed to prevent fraud or abuse, kept only as long as necessary.

Retained data is access-restricted and used only for the purposes above; it is not used to provide the Service or for marketing.
